Authentication bypass in Ricardo Boss PubNet before 1.1.3 allows remote attackers to upload packages under any registered author's identity. StorageController.Upload accepts a client-supplied author-id, verifies only that the author exists, and stores the package without authenticating or authorizing the requester. No account or user interaction is required, and a successful upload can impersonate trusted publishers and alter packages consumed downstream.
