CVE-2025-65104

Client memory disclosure via incorrect XSQLDA lengths

Published Apr 17, 2026 · Updated Apr 17, 2026

Information disclosure in the Firebird 3 client through 3.0.13 allows attackers to read client memory when querying Firebird 4 or newer servers. The client library writes incorrect data-length values into XSQLDA descriptors, causing consumers to treat returned fields as longer than their actual contents. Exploitation requires an affected client to communicate with a Firebird 4 or newer server, exposing adjacent client-process memory to the requesting context.
