Restricted attachment disclosure via unchecked View File rendering
Published Nov 19, 2025 · Updated Nov 19, 2025
Missing authorization in XWiki Pro Macros before 1.27.0 allows remote authenticated users to read restricted office attachments. The View File macro renders an office attachment referenced from a public page without enforcing view rights on the attachment's restricted source page. Exploitation requires page-editing rights, knowledge of the attachment reference, and a user who opens the crafted page; the result is disclosure of attachment content.
