CVE-2025-6508Network attack vector

Unintended requests via external Swagger definition override

Published Aug 6, 2026 · Updated Aug 6, 2026

User interface misrepresentation in WSO2 API Manager allows remote attackers to induce unintended API requests through Publisher users. The Swagger UI Try-out console accepts an external API definition URL and replaces the API definitions displayed in the Publisher portal without preserving their trusted origin. Exploitation requires a user to interact with the substituted definitions; resulting requests can reach backend services or expose data entered into the console.
