CVE-2025-65076Network attack vector

Arbitrary file read and deletion via ilog traversal

Published Dec 16, 2025 · Updated Dec 16, 2025

Path traversal in the ilog script in Wavestore Server before 6.44.44 allows remote authenticated users to read or delete any server file. The WaveView client supplies a traversal-bearing path to the restricted ilog script, which performs the requested file operation with root privileges. A high-privilege WaveView account and network access to the connected server are required; exploitation exposes or removes files within root-level reach.
