Unauthenticated database access via unsanitized categoriesId
Published Jun 23, 2025 · Updated Jun 23, 2025
SQL injection in fetchSelectedCategories.php in code-projects Inventory Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to access its database. The endpoint inserts the POST categoriesId value directly into a SQL query without validation, sanitization, or parameter binding. No authentication is required; demonstrated boolean-, error-, time-, and UNION-based payloads can read or alter database contents and interrupt service.
