Unauthorized participant deletion via unchecked ownership
Published Nov 19, 2025 · Updated Nov 19, 2025
IDOR in Luke Vella Rallly before 4.5.4 allows remote authenticated users to delete poll participants through its deletion endpoint. The backend accepts a supplied participant ID as sufficient authority and processes deletion without checking ownership or poll permissions. Any authenticated participant who obtains another participant ID can remove that participant, including a poll owner, disrupting participation data.
