CVE-2025-65028Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Poll-result manipulation via unchecked participant identifier

Published Nov 19, 2025 · Updated Nov 19, 2025

IDOR in Luke Vella's Rallly before 4.5.4 allows remote authenticated users to alter other participants' poll votes via crafted requests. The vote-update backend trusts the participantId supplied in an authenticated request and updates that record without checking its owner or poll permissions. A regular participant who learns another participant's identifier can overwrite that person's choices and thereby falsify the poll outcome.
