Panel session compromise via unescaped model titles
Published Nov 18, 2025 · Updated Nov 19, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Content Folder Kirby 5.0.0 through 5.1.3 allows attackers to execute JavaScript in Panel sessions. The Changes dialog inserts attacker-controlled page titles or user names into model-title output without escaping them as plain text. Exploitation requires permission to change a title or name, an unsaved change on that model, and another authenticated Panel user opening the dialog; the script can issue API requests with that user's permissions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
