Missing authentication in Wodesys WD-R608U WDR28081123OV1.01 allows remote attackers to change the administrator password. The wizard.cgi endpoint processes an unauthenticated POST containing CMD=SETPW and writes the supplied PwdNew value as the administrator password. Adjacent-network access is sufficient, and the endpoint remains reachable after initial setup, enabling takeover of the management panel.
