Elevated command execution via unvalidated instruction input
Published Dec 11, 2025 · Updated Dec 11, 2025
Command injection in the LogoffUser instruction in TeamViewer DEX before 21.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute elevated commands. The instruction fails to validate attacker-controlled input before using it to construct commands for execution on connected devices. Exploitation requires Actioner privileges and approval and execution of the malicious instruction by a different highly privileged user.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
