Code execution via out-of-bounds parser read
Published Dec 9, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Acrobat Reader 25.001.20982 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a crafted PDF file. The file parser reads past the end of an allocated memory structure, but Adobe has not identified the responsible parser routine or object. A victim must open the malicious file, after which code runs with the current user's privileges on Windows or macOS.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
