CVE-2025-6486Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via unchecked stack copy

Published Jun 22, 2025 · Updated Jun 23, 2025

Stack-based buffer overflow in TOTOLINK A3002R 1.1.1-B20200824.0128 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via submit-url. The boa formWlanMultipleAP handler copies the attacker-controlled submit-url value into a stack-local buffer without a length check, overwriting the function return address. Low-privileged access to the web management endpoint is required; the published proof of concept crashes the router, while return-address control enables arbitrary code execution.
