Authenticated command execution via unsanitized wlanif parameter
Published Jun 22, 2025 · Updated Jun 23, 2025
OS command injection in TOTOLINK A3002R 1.1.1-B20200824.0128 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via wlanif. The boa formWlSiteSurvey handler passes the attacker-controlled wlanif value into an operating-system command without validating shell metacharacters. Access to the router's web interface with low privileges is required; a crafted POST request can start an attacker-chosen service and yield a shell.
