CVE-2025-64778

Unauthorized access via plaintext hard-coded passwords

Published Dec 2, 2025 · Updated Dec 2, 2025

Hard-coded credentials in Mirion Medical BioDose/NMIS before 23.0 allow local users to access the application and database. Affected executable binaries store passwords in plaintext rather than obtaining protected, deployment-specific credentials. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access to inspect or use the binaries; the exposed passwords grant unauthorized application and database access.
