Unauthorized student creation via forged administrative request
Published Jun 22, 2025 · Updated Jun 23, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in SourceCodester Gym Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to add student records through a forged request. The /admin/student_action.php endpoint accepts state-changing POST fields without validating a CSRF token, Origin header, or Referer header. An authenticated administrator must open attacker-controlled content; the accepted request creates a student record with attacker-chosen data.
