Collection-name disclosure via divergent authorization errors
Published Nov 13, 2025 · Updated Nov 14, 2025
Information disclosure in the Directus REST API before 11.13.0 allows remote authenticated users to identify restricted collections. The /items/{collection} path emitted a generic forbidden error for nonexistent collections but named existing collections in permission failures. A low-privileged account and candidate collection names are required; successful probes reveal only whether restricted collections exist.
