Memory disclosure and crash via palette premultiplication

Out-of-bounds read in libpng 1.6.0 through 1.6.50 allows remote attackers to disclose memory or crash applications via crafted PNG images. The png_init_read_transformations palette path composites a background while premultiplying alpha, producing an oversized index that png_image_read_composite uses to read beyond png_sRGB_base. Exploitation requires a consuming application to process the image through the simplified API with PNG_FLAG_OPTIMIZE_ALPHA enabled, exposing adjacent memory or terminating the process.
