Open redirect via unvalidated redir URL scheme
Published Nov 13, 2025 · Updated Nov 13, 2025
Open redirect in subrequest authentication in Techaro Anubis before 1.23.0 allows remote attackers to supply arbitrary URL schemes. ServeHTTPNext parses the redir parameter and, before the fix, accepts schemes such as javascript, data, file, and custom protocols for a Location response. The route is exposed only when subrequest authentication is enabled; an accepting client invokes its registered protocol handler, while most modern browsers block javascript redirects.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
