CVE-2025-64695

Code execution via installer DLL search path

Published Nov 21, 2025 · Updated Nov 21, 2025

Uncontrolled DLL search in the LogStare Collector Windows installer 2.4.1 and earlier allows attackers to execute code locally. The installer searches its own directory for a DLL and loads a crafted file placed there without constraining the library path. Exploitation requires a user to download the malicious DLL beside the installer and then run it; code inherits that user's privileges.
