A heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft RRAS allows remote attackers to execute code when a user connects to a malicious server. Microsoft has not disclosed the affected parsing routine, the malformed field, or how the RRAS client overruns its heap allocation. Exploitation requires a user to initiate a connection to an attacker-controlled server and permits code execution in the affected service context.
