CVE-2025-64530Network attack vector

Protected data disclosure via interface fragment queries

Published Nov 13, 2025 · Updated Nov 13, 2025

Access control bypass in Apollo Federation composition allows remote attackers to read protected GraphQL data through crafted queries. Composition accepts @authenticated, @requiresScopes, or @policy directives on interface types and fields even though Router resolution does not inherit them for implementing objects, so fragments avoid the checks. Exposure requires access-control directives on interfaces; deployments without Router access control or protected interfaces are unaffected.
