Persistent account access via inactive-session authorization bypass
Published Nov 8, 2025 · Updated Nov 8, 2025
Privilege escalation in SuiteCRM 7.14.7 and earlier and 8.0.0-beta.1 through 8.9.0 allows remote authenticated users to retain access. The Users module leaves existing sessions valid after account deactivation and lets an inactive user write the status field on their own profile. A previously authenticated session is required; the user can restore Active status and continue reading or modifying CRM records.
