Authentication bypass via reusable password hashes

Authentication bypass in affected Fortinet FortiWeb releases allows remote attackers to log in with a password hash via crafted HTTP/HTTPS requests. The HTTP/HTTPS authentication path accepts an account's password hash as the presented credential instead of requiring the underlying password. Exploitation requires possession of a valid account hash; successful requests authenticate as that account and permit its authorized operations.
