Stack-based buffer overflow in NI LabVIEW 2025 Q3 and earlier allows context-dependent attackers to execute code through a crafted VI file. The CVE description says LVResFile::FindRsrcListEntry() overflows a stack buffer while parsing corrupted VI resource data, while NI's advisory names LVResource::DetachResource(). Exploitation requires a user to open the file; successful memory corruption enables information disclosure or arbitrary code execution in the LabVIEW process.
