Code execution via corrupted VI use-after-free
Published Dec 18, 2025 · Updated Dec 18, 2025
Use-after-free in NI LabVIEW 25.3.2 and earlier allows context-dependent attackers to execute code through a corrupted VI file. The sentry!sentry_span_set_data() routine accesses freed memory while LabVIEW parses corrupted VI contents. Execution requires a user to open the crafted file; successful exploitation can also disclose process memory.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <=22.3.6
- Affected versionversion=23.1.0 <=23.3.7
- Affected versionversion=24.1.0 <=24.3.4
