SQL injection via unvalidated ORM connector
Published Nov 5, 2025 · Updated Nov 5, 2025
SQL injection in Django 4.2 before 4.2.26, 5.1 before 5.1.14, and 5.2 before 5.2.8 allows remote attackers to read unauthorized database rows. Q.init accepts an arbitrary _connector value and passes it as the SQL boolean connector instead of restricting it to AND, OR, XOR, or None. Exploitation requires an application to expand an attacker-controlled dictionary into Q, QuerySet.filter(), QuerySet.exclude(), or QuerySet.get(); injected query logic can bypass application filters.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
