Unauthenticated administrative command execution via path traversal

Relative path traversal in affected Fortinet FortiWeb 7.0, 7.2, 7.4, 7.6, and 8.0 releases allows remote attackers to run administrative commands. The management request path can traverse into cgi-bin/fwbcgi, whose cgi_auth routine decodes client-controlled CGIINFO JSON and applies its identity fields as the execution context. No authentication or user interaction is required; an exposed management interface permits built-in administrator impersonation and privileged configuration changes.
