Member-to-root command execution via unescaped repository URL
Published Jan 5, 2026 · Updated Jan 5, 2026
Command injection in Coolify 4.0.0-beta.434 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute commands as root via Git source fields. ApplicationDeploymentJob passes the repository URL to executeInDocker, which embeds it unescaped in a bash -c command. Member access to edit a resource and trigger its deployment is sufficient, granting control of the Coolify host.
