Administrator access via repeated privileged invitation
Published Jan 5, 2026 · Updated Jan 5, 2026
Improper authorization in Coolify 4.0.0-beta.434 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to gain administrator access via invitations. The team member invitation flow accepts a member-selected administrator role on the second submission even though the first returns an error. Member-level access is required; the attacker controls the invited email address, resets its password, and signs in as an administrator.
