CVE-2025-6438Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated file disclosure via SOAP entity resolution

Published Jul 11, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025

XML external entity injection in Schneider Electric EcoStruxure IT Data Center Expert 8.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read local files. The /DataExchange/DataExchangeService route resolves external entities in a SOAP POST body, and GetHistoryRequest reflects the resolved value from its Id parameter in an error response. An application account and network access to the server are required; disclosure is limited to files readable by the service, with no reported write capability.
