Administrator-context script execution via unescaped collection names
Published Dec 15, 2025 · Updated Dec 16, 2025
Stored XSS in ClipBucket V5 5.5.2 - #156 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript in an administrator's browser. The Manage Photos view emits a user-controlled collection name into the administrator interface without HTML escaping. A regular account can store the payload, but execution requires an administrator to open Manage Photos; the script then acts in that browser context.
