Administrator script execution via unescaped photo titles
Published Nov 7, 2025 · Updated Nov 7, 2025
Stored XSS in MacWarrior ClipBucket V5 before 5.5.2-#147 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in an administrator's browser. The Manage Photos admin view renders an uploaded photo title as HTML without output encoding, so stored markup becomes executable script. Exploitation requires a regular account, a crafted photo upload, and an administrator to open Manage Photos, exposing the administrator session to script actions.
