CVE-2025-64328Known exploitationNetwork attack vector

Authenticated shell command execution via SSH test connection

Published Nov 7, 2025 · Updated Nov 7, 2025

OS command injection in FreePBX filestore 17.0.2.36 and later before 17.0.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute shell commands. The testconnection handler passes an attacker-controlled SSH key path to check_ssh_connect(), which embeds it in local exec() command strings without shell escaping. Access to the Administration panel with a known username is required; injected commands run as the asterisk user and can establish remote system access.
