CVE-2025-64319Network attack vector

Arbitrary command execution via writable workspace files

Published Nov 4, 2025 · Updated Nov 4, 2025

Arbitrary command execution in Salesforce MuleSoft Anypoint Code Builder before 1.12.1 allows remote attackers to run commands via workspace files. MuleSoft Dev Agent permitted edits to .vscode settings and *.code-workspace files without explicit approval, allowing attacker-controlled workspace content to alter command-bearing configuration. Exploitation requires prompt injection to drive those edits; commands run with the IDE user's permissions and can affect the workstation and connected Salesforce organization.
