CVE-2025-64310Network attack vector

Administrative takeover via unlimited password attempts

Published Nov 21, 2025 · Updated Dec 23, 2025

Improper authentication-attempt restriction in EPSON WebConfig and Epson Web Control allows remote attackers to discover administrator passwords. Their Web Control Password and Remote Password handlers accept unlimited failed guesses without rate limiting or account lockout. Network access to the projector management interface is sufficient; a recovered password permits projector control and, on supported models, content editing, image capture, or log viewing.
