CVE-2025-64250Network attack vector

Phishing via unvalidated registration redirect URL

Published Dec 16, 2025 · Updated Dec 16, 2025

Open redirect in Directorist 8.6.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to send users to external sites through a crafted registration URL. The registration redirect handler accepts a caller-controlled redirect URL without validating that its host is local before issuing the redirect. No authentication is required, but a target must follow the crafted link; the resulting trusted-site hop can support phishing without altering the WordPress site.
