Subscriber-level settings modification via unauthorized AJAX request
Published Dec 16, 2025 · Updated Dec 16, 2025
Missing authorization in WPS Bidouille 1.33.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to modify wps_display settings via AJAX. The AJAX handler accepts arbitrary option fields for the wps_display option without a capability check. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and the documented consequence is limited to unauthorized modification of that plugin option.
