Victim-browser script execution via unescaped reflected input
Published Dec 18, 2025 · Updated Dec 18, 2025
Reflected XSS in 8theme XStore before 9.6.1 allows remote attackers to execute scripts in a victim's browser via a crafted request. Published material does not identify the affected request parameter, handler, or template output sink beyond insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. Exploitation requires a victim to follow an attacker-controlled link or request, after which the script runs in the affected site's origin and can act as that victim.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
