CVE-2025-64187

Session script execution via unescaped printer messages

Published Nov 7, 2025 · Updated Nov 7, 2025

Cross-site scripting in OctoPrint before 1.11.4 allows attackers to execute script in a user's session through crafted print files. The Action Command Notification and Prompt plugins pass printer-supplied message text and button labels to popup renderers without HTML escaping. A targeted user must print the file with at least one affected popup enabled; the script can disrupt prints, read data available to that user, or act with that user's permissions.
