Credential disclosure via enabled Basic proxy tunneling
Published Oct 29, 2025 · Updated Oct 29, 2025
Insecure initialization in Jenkins Eggplant Runner Plugin 0.0.1.301.v963cffe8ddb_8 and earlier allows remote attackers to read proxy credentials. Applying a proxy configuration sets jdk.http.auth.tunneling.disabledSchemes to an empty value, re-enabling Basic authentication for HTTPS proxy tunnels. Exploitation requires a proxy path offering Basic authentication, where the Java restriction no longer prevents credential exposure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
