Secret extraction and SSRF via unsafe XML parsing
Published Oct 29, 2025 · Updated Oct 29, 2025
XXE in Jenkins JDepend Plugin 1.3.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to extract controller secrets via crafted report files. The bundled JDepend Maven Plugin leaves its XML parser configured to resolve external entities referenced by untrusted Report JDepend input. Attackers must be able to configure the step's input files; successful parsing reads controller-accessible secrets or makes server-side requests.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
