Authenticated network-boundary bridging via unrestricted VPN channels
Published Jan 3, 2026 · Updated Jan 3, 2026
Improper endpoint restriction in Nuvation Energy nCloud VPN Service allows remote authenticated users to bridge connected client networks. The hosted VPN service failed to restrict communication channels to their intended client endpoints, permitting traffic to cross the isolation boundary between connected clients. An authenticated VPN client could therefore use the service as an unintended intermediary to reach other clients or connected appliances; Dragos reports that the flaw could be chained with MSC vulnerabilities.
