Unrestricted file upload in DNN Platform before 10.1.1 allows remote attackers to overwrite site files through the default HTML editor. The FileUploader.ashx endpoint accepts anonymous uploads and fails to reject a filename that already exists, replacing the stored file. No account or user interaction is required; overwriting images enables site defacement, while script upload can inject XSS payloads when combined with another issue.
