Stored script execution via unneutralized module output
Published Nov 25, 2025 · Updated Nov 25, 2025
Stored XSS in REDAXO CMS 5.20.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser through module output. The module manager stores Output code without neutralizing active HTML, and adding a slice renders that code when an article is viewed or edited. High-privilege module access and victim interaction are required; executed script can act in the victim's REDAXO session.
