Authenticated invoice disclosure via unchecked object identifier
Published Dec 16, 2025 · Updated Dec 16, 2025
Incorrect access control in InvoicePlane 1.6.1 allows remote authenticated users to read other users' invoice data by changing an invoice ID. The invoices/view handler accepts the user-controlled invoice_id as an object key and returns the selected invoice without checking its owner. Any authenticated account can cross the user boundary to disclose financial and customer information, with no demonstrated write or service-interruption impact.
