CVE-2025-6401Public exploit

Router crash via unchecked URL copy

Published Jun 21, 2025 · Updated Jun 23, 2025

Buffer overflow in N300RH firmware 6.1c.1390_B20191101 allows remote authenticated users to crash the router via a crafted HTTP POST request. The /boafrm/formFilter handler copies the url form value without checking its length, so an oversized value overflows its destination buffer. Exploitation requires adjacent-network access and a valid session token and interrupts router service; no confidentiality or integrity impact is reported.
