Service interruption via unvalidated PHP object deserialization
Published Dec 18, 2025 · Updated Dec 18, 2025
Insecure deserialization in MiczFlor RPi-Jukebox-RFID allows remote attackers to cause a service interrupt via a crafted HTTP GET request. The htdocs/rss-mp3.php script passes the unvalidated rss parameter directly to unserialize(), then uses the resulting object in filemtime() and filesize() operations. The request requires neither authentication nor user interaction, and the reported affected range extends through commit 4b2334f0ae0e87c0568876fc41c48c38aa9a7014.
