Database disclosure via unparameterized search query
Published Apr 14, 2026 · Updated Apr 14, 2026
SQL injection in anirudhkannanvp Grocery Store Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read database data through a crafted search request. /Grocery/search_products_itname.php directly interpolates the sitem_name POST value into a quoted SQL WHERE clause without parameterization, allowing injected Boolean logic and UNION queries to execute. No authentication is required; the published proof of concept demonstrates differential responses and extraction of the current database name, while broader write or service-interruption effects were not demonstrated.
