Weak cryptography in Cohesity TranZman Migration Appliance 4.0 Build 14614 allows attackers to expose FTP credentials and commands. The FTP service on TCP port 55555 prefixes traffic with SRLCRYPT and XORs plaintext with one hardcoded key, without an IV or integrity check. Attackers who can observe the control channel can recover credentials, filenames, and commands, while possession of the key also permits forged or replayed commands.
